So Halloween breeding season is over, but I know that there's a niche of people who breed vamp cats year round.

It is inconceivable to me that some people out there didn't grab this new Big Vamp ear and breed it against their pure Vampire ear kitties.
Why do we not have a proof of Big Vampire versus Vampire?
I think the proof has to be out there in the wild but nobody has submitted it.
Proofs anybody?

Also, anyone embarking on such a project could be starting a nice line of Vampire ears hiding different Vampire ears. This is a win/win in my book!
I breed vampire year round but I do not have the ear yet. Unlike my wild tail that I buried in Curious my vampire still sometimes throws more recessive ears and I have no way of knowing for sure it is solid. I could dig and find one of my vampire cats that hides scotty fold maybe and go from there.
I don't like the basic Vampire ear, but I like the Big Vampire more - it just looks better on the cat. I have started to breed that ear and I will probably do it for a couple of months. I tend to breed the heck out of a trait that I like and then I get bored and move on to the next!
Big Vampire is recessive to Odyssey Vampire.

I've also just tested another starter hiding Big Vampire against Wild Tiger - and I have a kitten with Big Vampire. It's unpacked and will be tested for the hidden ear as soon as it's old enough.

Just in case you are wondering where the MOF came from, it's on Grandpa Darek. I knew Chrissie couldn't have passed her Vampire ears as the range had already moved away from Vampire, so she must have passed something more recessive, which turned out to her dad's MOF ear.
