KittyCatS jewels are very rare. They are most often given as prizes in contests. Rarely one will appear when two cats make a kitten box.
Ten diamonds or twenty rubies or thirty emeralds can be traded in (via a free jewel box obtained from the KittyCatS main store) for a random Fancie cat. http://kittycats.ws/cats/fancies.php A Fancie cat cannot pass most of its costume traits to its offspring, but it carries and can pass an eye color not found in regular starter cats or collection cats. Fancie cats always produce a jewel when they make a kitten box.
