Hi Starr. I'm sorry to hear that she's still pulling a disappearing act on you. I want to stress that cats disappering is NOT normal behavior and is very likely caused by an SL issue, perhaps with your sim. That said, before you throw in the towel I'd like you to allow us to help you out so you can get back to enjoying your new KittyCat, so I have a few suggestions to keep in mind after we retrieve your cat for you.
First, remember your cat is a kitten and very small! Kittens are also FAST little buggers! So it may be that she is running around and you are just not seeing her. The good news is that our KittyCatS always return to their Home point to sleep, so when she sleeps she'll go back to her home spot. Kittens under 5 days old will sleep 4 hours, and then be awake for 4 hours. When she turns 5, this will increase to 8 hours sleeping/8 hours awake.
Do you use the Phoenix or Firestorm viewer? If not, I'd like to suggest giving them a try as they have a feature called Area Search that comes in very handy for finding wayward kitties. If you're not familiar with this feature, please let us know and we'll be happy to walk you through its use. We also have a HUD available in store for purchase that can also be used to find your kitties, so that option is available to you as well.
You had mentioned in your IM to me that she had fallen under the floor. SL lag can cause the cats to ghost through prims sometimes when they move. This is because the cats "collide" with the environment while moving. So if they are moving around in a slightly laggy environment and bumping up against prims, they can pass through them into areas they shouldn't. This usually isn't a problem our customers deal with, but it can happen, so one of the things I recommend to customers having an issue like this is that they 1) reduce the cat's range so it is not bumping against walls and 2) increase the thickness of floor and wall prims OR create an invisible barrier around the cat's range area so thart the cat has a harder time ghosting through prims. If you'd like to try doing this and aren't sure how, let us know so we can assist you further.
Finally, SL can just be wonky sometimes, and recent times are no exception. LL maintenance, sim restarts, asset server issues - these are all things that can affect KittyCatS (or any breedable, really). So it is entirely possible that something in SL caused the cat to arbitrarily poof. When that happens, all we need is your cat's ID# to retrieve it, and we will retrieve the cat and get it back to you within 24hours (though sometimes our turnaround time is MUCH faster). That said, our totally awesome scripter, KittyCats Resident, is going to retrieve your cat and send it back to you. He'll also send you an IM when he does, and the cat will go directly to your Inventory>Objects folder. So keep an eye out for his IM!
Once you have your cat back if you'd like me to take some time with you to answer questions about KittyCatS or help you out with any further concerns, please feel free to IM me in world and let me know. Thanks!

I'd just filed my support ticket, i went back to my viewer window and Kitten Longmeadow had already found my kitty and had sent it.
I was flabbered and she said she was still trying to cut down response time !! LOL.
I don't see how customer service can get any better
