Hi there, most cats are transferable, but if it is a starter cat/free cat they are not.
If the cat is transferable then you can transfer it by picking it up into your inventory and sending it to another user like any other transferable object or you can edit the cat and set it for sale on the General tab of the edit window.
If the cat is no trans, you will not be able to send it to someone or set it for sale. The only way to make a no-trans cat transfer is by turning it into a PermaPet.
Also KittyCatS never die, so they can be stored and when you have the funds again you can heal them with 7 days of kibble or instantly with the Get Well vitamin.
