I have a gyazo, which may or may not come out above!! Shows Flowerchild Orangeskies recessive to Meditation Clarity, it came out from under the Med Clarity.
Thank you so much China!
Sometimes people aren't sure how much it takes to make a proof. And sometimes we want to see grandparents, and sometimes we totally don't need to, because the information we need is bundled right into what we can already see. Here we have a pedigree that's full of cats showing Orange Skies. But there's the key thing: Orangie Skittles' parents both show Meditation Clarity. We don't know which one of them (or if both of them) hides the Orange Skies but it HAS to be hiding on at least one. And because it's hidden, it is therefore recessive to.
Proof done, easy peasy.
Dominant to Grey Matter

Purity proofs on the Grey Matter follow, the line predates the relwase of Dreeamy Oasis so the line has to be pure.
Dreamy Oasis was discovered on 22nd December 2019

Meggys Pedigree Meggys parents are not Grey Matter but are too old to hide Dreamy Oasis

Dreamy Oasis was discovered in the Fall Collection which was released 277 days ago, as you can see from all the pedigrees above the line is older that 277 days, therefore the Grey Matter has to be pure as it was mot recessive until Dreamy Oasis was discovered. Not only does this line predate discovery but also release date of Dreamy Oasis.
i say it sets right under Grey matter !!!!

Because of? Do you have an alternate pedigree that suggests something else? Where would you say the flaw in Arwen's reasoning lies?

Just to run through some relevant dates:

FlowerChild OrangeSkies was discovered April 6th 2020 from a Love Collection cat. That is 109 days ago for the discovery.
The Love Collection was released February 29 2020, 146 days ago.

The Grey Matter line that Arwen presents goes back to 269 days at least that we can see here and most of the cats go back to over 300 days.

For reference: Grey Matter was discovered December 9th 2018 from a Fall Collection cat. That was 593 days ago since discovery. It was the most recessive eye on the grid and by definition pure from that time until the introduction of Dreamy Oasis which happened with the Fall 2019 Collection. Dreamy Oasis was discovered on 22 December 2019, 215 days ago. Fall 2019 collection was introduced: October 19 2019, 279 days ago.

This is why we post proofs publicly in the forums, so that everybody can see them and double-check them in case there's a mistake. (We've all made them. Even Arwen is extraordinarily thorough but not perfect.) However, to critique a proof, one needs to point out where the logic is either wrong or inconclusive.

Arwen has shown Flowerchild Orange Skies being pulled from a starter by Grey Matter, and then offered proofs that the Grey Matter is pure and can't be hiding Dreamy Oasis. Therefore, Orange Skies must be dominant to Grey Matter. If you see something in Arwen's proof that looks incorrect or inconclusive, or if you have a proof that shows something different, then please post it. That's what these threads are for -- we want to get it right.
no one said arwen was wrong .. it is defiantly recessive to clarity 100%. I have been breed it sense it was found by china.. I have bred the original starter that it was found to rock turquoise Three times.
all three times it gave the gen eye of the starter. Never gave back Rock turq or orange skies. I would think that it is probably dom to grey matter and oasis.. and that is it!!!! I work alot in rl and when im in sl i have 300 pair of cats that i work with .. I haven't had time to send it results i appoligise.!
Thank you Magnum. I'm sorry the starter didn't work out for you.
If you do breed the eye and find anything interesting, be sure to let us know.

Both RainDears hid Starry Ocean Blues and passed it under Marble Magic to Aethelisduns parents. They then both passed it to him making it pure on him so nothing else can hide under the FlowerChild OrangeSkies baby he had with Birdie.

This places the Eye between FlowerChild Woodstock and Starry Ocean BLues Smile
