I have had a scratching post for a long time and my wife and I have spent hours sitting, watching, waiting, for one of our cats to actually use the scratching post. They gave it looks, gave it sniffs, and wandered off to smell some customer shoes. It seemed that they'd never actually use it. Tonight my cat Lucky gave it a few sniffs and stares, then suddenly attacked it! Up she went and gave it a good few scratches. It was wonderful!

Ah. Anticipation made it all the better. Ofc my wife was not online when Lucky went scratchtastic on it. One day perhaps she too will see the wonder of the wood and twine and claws.
