sad memory of the towers. I'm reading a cookbook right now by a New Yorker and they talked about the time that happened. Very intense.

There were inches of dust for many blocks. The windows that were intact were dirty brown. All you could smell was burning electrical wiring. On the surrounding blocks, immigrants had set up shop selling photographs and twin tower trinkets. At first I said, “ wtf is with these people making money off such tragedy” then realized, this is NYC, these are people trying to get a start on the American dream, you do what you can to get moving, and someday you can afford a gas station, it was no longer a tragedy to them, it had become... an opportunity.

TWENTY YEARS!! Insane how time flies. Never forget.
