I would love to see some expansion around the age for our cats. Even if it was just around 120 to 121 days old—I would love for a more robust indicator of how close I am to off.
Go to your Pedigree roster and hover your mouse over the cat's age. The tooltip shows the age in days, hours and minutes.
While you can breed right up to 120 days, 23 hours, 59 minutes, it can be hard to nail it that closely. After years of listening to Charm moan about wanting just one more cat and having Dad turn 121 before Mom went to double-hearts, I finally convinced her to use 114 days as the cut-off for mating. Sure, statistically, she is missing a few potential boxes, but the cost savings from not wasting two bowls of food, not to mention the angst, is quite nice.
