This month's theme is gratitude. For many gratitude is a way of life, and scientific research has shown that when we are in a state of gratitude our outlook on life is better and we are happier.

What things are you thankful for?

All expressions are welcome!

From being thankful to just be part of this thing we all call life to getting our favorite fur or eye or, or, or!

We can't wait to see what you come up with as you show us in your displays with your special kitties, what you are thankful for!

Make it simple, silly, or mysterious or wild, anything goes!

If this sounds like something fun that you'd like to be a part of, please contact Kitten Longmeadow via notecard by November 12, and be sure to include your avatar name! Space is limited to the first 20 entrants so send your notecard in ASAP! Past entrants are welcome to participate as well!

Display set-up: Nov. 15-20
Judging: Nov. 21-26
Prize announcements: Nov. 27
Displays remain up for public viewing until Nov. 30
Display breakdown: Dec. 1-3

Judging will be conducted by a judges panel. Each participant will receive an award based on criteria such as "Outstanding Use of Color", "Dreamiest", etc. We're really excited about this first show and can't wait to see what you've created!


RULES
This month's theme is "Gratitude"
- One table per person
- Only one (1) KittyCatS allowed per person (no multiple entries using alts)
- PG content
- Limit of 15 prims for your display
- Keep your displays within the parameters of the display base (participants are sent a sample)
- All breeds eligible, including Confettis AND collection cats!
- Cat does not have to have been bred by you!
- Normal sized cats only for this contest only please!

My panel says "Thankful for Home, Food, Family & Friends" and the backdrop texture is an actual pic of the fireplace and plaque in the cabin that my girl, Jenni, and I share. The years since I became disabled in RL have been really hard and I was even homeless for a while, but my SL friends and family have brought love, support and joy to my life. My kitties have added the excitement of getting the perfect kitten or new trait, the calming happiness of cuddles... and an extra $20 here and there when I needed it the most! :-) Thanks to KittyCats for all the beauty, happiness and fun you bring to our lives!

I am so grateful for the Kittycats, especially my Fire Eyed Toygers!
I'm very glad KittyCatS gives away the birthday cats, or I might never have gotten started on this crazy cat adventure.

I'm grateful for the chance to make all kinds of really cool stuff in a whole rainbow of colors, as in the real world
I'm usually asked to work with a limited palette.

I'm grateful for the wonderful kittycats customer service reps who have always been willing to put up with my hysterics
whenever one of my cats goes missing.

And I'm grateful to have such a wonderful universe just chock full of interesting characters and generous souls,
where anytime I log on I can expect to run into a friend.
