To be eligible for the Kitty of the Month contest, does the cat have to be birthed or simply bred? Do cats in the cattery count toward the contest?

It has to be bred during said month.
All count : online cattery and inworld.

Helllo, the Kitty of the Month page does not show any recent births since the 8th of January, or is there a malfunction on my site page

It's because no kitten with at least 8 traits in common with the KotM has been birthed since the 8th.
