Mom shows Tonkinese Blue Mink, and hides Toyger Caramel from her starter mom (Proven before in the thread)
Dad shows Burmilla Chocolate silver
Kitten shows Burmilla Chocolate Silver which is known to be recessive to Tonkinese Blue mink. He must therefore hide his mother and grandmother's hidden fur: Toyger Caramel
I call that a new most recessive fur! Now breed back and pull that hidden, Peaches!

I was happy I got an opposite sex offspring, he is open now and I'll be staring at him for a couple weeks
Congrats again Oly on discovering this fur

Peaches, Is that "Bronze Toyger Caramel", the same as in the first post of the thread just with a slightly different name change? I am assuming so but just wondered. I like to see how genealogies develop as we make proofs.
And congratulations on your proof!

Oh wow! Good catch, Reven! I didn't even think to check that! Awesome! So the discovery cat provides the placement cat!

Was just about to say check the ID its the ssame and saw Reven beat me to it
Names change so much I have started relying on IDs in proofs.

So it looks like it's pretty much official that Toyger Caramel is the new most recessive fur! Yay! Thank you to all who have worked on these proofs!
