Just a note about the latest 1.49 update's new HUD for watching your cat move around on a background.

It does not work at all on Firestorm 4.6.9 or on Singularity viewers.

The cat is sent to Inventory as an attachment when HUD botton is pressed, but the HUD picture is invisible. To get your cat back, you need to Detach in inventory, and rezz it again.

Of course Firestorm says everyone must upgrade soon: "we will be applying a block to version 4.7.1 Public Beta on January 7th. This will leave only version 4.6.9 available to Windows XP / Mac 10.6 users, and that will be blocked after our upcoming release. If you are still on Win XP or Mac 10.6, please update your operating system now!"

That doesn't help Singularity users, who cannot run the latest Firestorm versions.

Singularity has a different problem than firestorm.
For Singularity, you can just detach and attach the cat again, and it will show up.
I also noticed that, at least in Singularity, the cat will not be visible anymore when dropped in world, after it was visible on screen. Moving out of view range and back in did make it visible again.

It's unclear for now what triggers this viewer bug to occure, since most huds are just working in both Singularity and older Firestorm viewers.

While strictly a viewer bug, it may be possible to create a workaround, if we know the cause.
