I was "holding" one cat and "cuddling" the other. As I went to click "drop," it wasn't an available option as it usually is. I had to detach. I have checked my inventory to no avail. My prim count is less by the prims of these 2 cats. Can anyone tell me how I can find them or if I'm just out of luck? Thanks so much, Bree

If it is not in your inventory you are indeed out of luck but you can get it back! :-)
Find your kitty listed here:
http://kittycats.biz/pedigree/
Click the line with the specific cat you are looking for.
Then copy and past it's ID.
After that file a ticket here with it's ID mentioned:
http://kittycats.biz/support/index.php?_mo=vt
The kitty will soon be brought back to you by the KittyCatS staff.

I lost my cat in inventory but it is not listed in pedigree either. What do I do?
If the cat is not listed in your Pedigree roster, it's not your cat; you sold it, gave it away, sent it to the Menagerie, or forgot to purchase it in the first place. In all of these cases there is nothing you can do because it's not your cat. (Well, if it was in the last week, you can check your short-term Menagerie .. the link is in the FAQ .. and get it back with a magic bottle.)
If you're SURE none of those cases apply, then someone handed it to you and you NEVER rezzed it in-world. Your ONLY recourse is to contact the previous owner and have them sell/hand it to you again. It will STILL be in THEIR pedigree and, if they can't find it, THEY can file a ticket and get it back.
When purchasing a cat, always, Always, ALWAYS either purchase it on the ground, send it to the Cattery, or IMMEDIATELY place it on the ground and wait a few moments before you pick it back up!
