Last night one of my cats was sleeping on her back and her paw was upturned.

There are 10 coloured berries in the pattern on her paw.

I'm wondering are there going to be 10 coloured confetti cats?

Well the colours of the kitties that have been discovered so far - do match those on the paws - you may be correct!!

I got a Cocoberry! (does a happy dance) and a bunch of genesis furbabies lol. The berry colors on the paw pad is interesting, that theory would mean there are a few more colors out there to be found! Thanks for posting that Eleanor

I was on a break from sl for a while and it looks like I missed a lot! It is the first time I hear about the Confetti cats, I saw the name but I thought it was just a collection cat I missed.

I didn't read all the replies but I can't see anything about the price and I can't log in to sl right now to check the store, so I'm wondering if they cost as much as the tigers, that would be a terrible news for me. So far I only made it to only one tiger and I saved for another but I still need a little more to get a special sized one.

So if the confetti cats are at the same rate and you need two for a chance of a confetti offspring, I guess I shouldn't even try because by the time I have enough K$, there will be a new special release.

Each kitten gives costs, K$ 5,000. Confetti kittens are like kittens started, do not transfer. and, You need always to pair two confetti, to get more confetti.

They are only sold in size Normal.

Results after 5 weeks.

Rather than copying pedigrees, which may have worked for week 1, I think i will stick to numbers.

Finally got round to putting the results on a spreadsheet, which has showed better results than I thought I had. What I see in my in-world cattery is a pile of Genesis boxes due for dispatch to Menagerie and quite a few bright green cats - and that seems to have made me think the results are worse than they are.

So - after 5 weeks - 32 Kittens born (week 1 was 4 pairs - up to last week's 9 pairs) - 6 Cocoberry - 5 Appleberry - 1 Normal fur (a blue and white tabby) - 20 Genesis

Equals roughly a third of the breedings have produced a Confetti Fur (Cocoberry or a colour (all green - but I live in hope)).

Last few weeks I've been really busy and let them do their own thing and find their own mates (they are within a range of only other confetti furs) but tomorrow I should have time - and now have a clear record of who had what with who - to set new partnerships.

Be interested to see what results other people are getting. And I do have a swap request in the Trading section - if anyone wants to swap another colour for an Appleberry please let me know)
