can you help explain why 7 and Zoe look different even though they are same fur and same shade?

These three siblings are all from Loch Scotty Olive http://kittycats.biz/pedigree/pedigreevi...key=&name=

Pedigree of Zoe http://kittycats.biz/pedigree/pedigreevi...id=6207828

Different lighting (or software) when she took the Pointed Soft Fold picture than when she took the Scotty Fold picture.

The Cattery images do not, ever, represent Shade.
So she takes a photo of every cat that is ever born?
I find that hard to believe
I thought she just used standard photos and then the software applied each part to the parts

I'm pretty sure she does.

That's how you can get enlargements and wallet sized photos!

I saw somebody with a picnic bag that had their cats pic on the side,
it was wearing a sun-dress and a big oversize straw hat,
emblazoned with the words:

"GREAT DAY FOR A PICNIC NOM NOM NOM!

that's most likely how they got it.

Or... what Tad said. Wink

The photos are:

Shadow (based on Ears)
Fur and Ears
Eyes, Eye Shape and Pupil Size
Whiskers and Whiskers Shape

Tail and Shade are not shown.

The Build-a-Cat lets you select the combinations. For the Pedigree and Cattery, the images are set for each cat; as well as paint jobs for Special Collections (which Build-a-Cat does not offer). So, yes, in a way, there is a photo for every cat born (and any never born); if you layer the four images together.

In your example, you noted the color difference and attributed it to a shade issue since the cats have the same fur. But they have different ears, and that's the cause. The photo for has different lighting for Aby Black Silver with PSF than it does for Aby Black Silver with Scotty Fold.
