I have a ruby i would like to trade for 2-3 emeralds. I have seen the price of rubies around 4500-5500L and the price of emeralds 1k-2500. I have actually bought emeralds for 1k. So 2-3 emeralds for a ruby would be reasonable Smile (I already have a good stock of emeralds that is why i am trading for the lower)

Please IM me in world as I do not check forum posts as much. Thank you!

FYI, I just bought quite a few rubies in the L$2300 - L$3500 range. Mathematically speaking, 3 emeralds = 2 rubies = 1 diamond.
Well I asked some experienced breeders and I also traveled the markets. I did not see ANY rubies for 2300. I did see a ton from different breeders for around 4k even 5k. All of the emeralds i saw were obviously cheaper. I guess there's a range and not a set price for them and i wasn't really trying to get into mathematics i said what i was askng was reasonable. I guess i will forget about swapping and just try and get rid of the ruby or trash it.
I would agree with you, Aubrey Smile Your price range is very reasonable and please do not forget about swapping... as what you suggest is very fair. I personally would not even think of selling a ruby for less than 4k.

Trade is complete. Thank you to everyone and thank you for realizing the true value of gems.
That's because I just grabbed them all up! 15 rubies at L$2300 - L$2500 each. * Happy Dance *

Each to their own & "whatever the market will bear".
