I use to be a auctioneer and assistant at too adorable and started collecting the rare cats to create a museum to dedicate the community , had it built and then all the stuff was returned when i wasnt able to keep in sl. here is the list of the cats i currently have with collections, you will notice the = x means i own them.
all are live expect for the ones labeled boxed. and maybe 1 or 2 is perma i forget now lol.
but i am in need to know what current market value is of these so i can sell them for a fair price. as i do not wish to keep these in my invetory and would rather sell them to collectors that wish to have such rare cats to show off.

Draughir, I am suspecting that people are going to be rather more cagey than you wish about posting fixed prices on the board. They generally are. Wiggle room needed and all that.

not asking for hi end prices, just something within reason, as like i said before its been 2 years since ive done anything in the kittycat community.

all i can say, is check the secondary markets. If you check a few stalls, you'll start to see the kittys you have, and see what prices people are asking, mind you, the price on kittys seems to be dropping lately so.. idk. the collector kittys seem to be holding their value pretty well though.

I've been looking for the Kibo Neko and have seen them in stores for 20,000L-30,000L. Since yourcollector kitties are older collectibles from 2011, those collector cats usually are in stores for higher prices 10,000-30,000. If you don't want to invest the time in a store, bidboards and auctions are another way to sell as you know. Bidboard and auction prices don't start as high as stores as they seem to start at 10,000 for the older collectibles. Sometimes they sell and sometimes they don't. Sell them singly, is my advice, because when people sell in groups of 2 or more, they still seem to get the price as if they had sold 1. It may just be a factor that people only have so much money per week or so that they are willing to spend on kittycats. Someone put 6 kitties on one auction panel--5 of which were collectibles-- and they only went for not even 4k. I about cried because I didn't have the money for them and 3 of them were older collectibles. Groupings never seem to go for "fair" prices. There is a caveat to bidboards, auctions, stores -- since yours are not permapetted and have been kept in inventory -- you do need to get them healthy or show in box forms. Kitties under a blanket do not do well and aren't allowed in most places anyways.

anyways, that's my 2L. Hope it's a little helpful.

You could also contact auctioneers about doing a patron auction, a one time "speed" big auction of all your collectibles, and set the opening bids at the lower end of the estimated fair price range. This would be faster than going the shop route, if you don't want this to be a long term project, but the sales probably wouldn't be as high per collectible as carefully matching up a buyer with their desired cat one at a time...Another route would be to put them on the SL Marketplace, but then there are factors like commission price and that the buyer would need to buy a Get Well vitamin after purchase. Plus, I have read that if the older style Marketplace "Magic Box" for limited quantity items is located on a sim and no avis are present, the sim shuts down partially and any sales from the Magic Box don't get delivered...seems there are pros and cons to every sales method
