Saga's chart says this about Sunset

Sunset is dominant to Light Wash - more info please.

since Light Wash is fairly recessive, that's a lot of area to cover. If you have charts that can narrow the range, can you post them and/or send them into the Saga folks






(over the next few days, i'll put up more requests over the halloween traits. It would be helpful to get them narrowed down before we get the 2015 new traits)

Okay, Here is proof, Sunset is dominant to Ody Rainbow

Since I have bred Airman's line for several gens, I know he is a double Ody Rainbow, hids passed from both his mom and dad

August 30th on the call to arms I posted that Saga said

Sunset is between Caramel and Ice Crystal/Crystal Crush (Note see Crystal Crush. Since Ice Crystal is definitely dominant to Crystal Crush which is recessive to Double Dip Flora, Sunset is between Caramel and Ice Crystal.)

Sept 4., Saga's chart posted that Sunset is dominant to Key Lime.

Now Sunset is shown between Carmamel and Key Lime. Knocking off 7 eyes. Yay!

I've got some cats to breed to see if i can define where sunset is relative to oceana, no promises, but i'm working on it lol

I matched Sunset to Malachite

Saga's chart currently says
"Malachite is dominant to Crystal Spring and recessive to 18 Caret Gold"

I matched Natacha: Malachite with Aldwyn: Sunset and they produced Maxwell who shows Sunset



Then I matched Maxwell: Sunset with Silvera: Strawberry Bellini and produced a boy who shows Malachite. This shows Malachite is recessive to Sunset



Malachite is recessive to Sunset

So if
Malachite is proven between 18 Carat Gold - Crystal Spring
and
Sunset is proven between Caramel - Key Lime
then
Malachite has to be recessive to Caramel

Malachite has been narrowed by about 13 eyes is now between Caramel - Crystal Spring
Sunset doesn't change. It is still between Caramel - Key Lime

Previously Sunset had been narrowed to between Caramel and Grass As of December 5, Saga's chart says Sunset is proven dominant to Blacklight.

Sunset is now placed. It is between Caramel and Blacklight.
