I had Google Chrome installed but I’ve had to remove it and since then I’ve been having problems with my dock throwing up “Application not found” error messages every time I hit the visit cattery or Cat to SL button. Currently my dock will only work if I access my cattery by using an IE bookmark - if I don't have it open in my browser first then the cattery buttons throw up the error message every time.

I tried rezzing a new dock but I’m still getting the error message so I thought I’d start here to see if anyone knows of a solution.
Sounds like you downloaded something you should not have.

The application not found message comes from Windows when a file associated (by the filename extension) with an application can't find the application. There are a few causes. The most likely is removing the application. Since this is with a normal web page, you should see the error a lot more places.

Anyway, the problem is fixable, but not by changing browsers.

Easiest way to get it fixed is to pay your local geek to do it. He'll want to run a raft of security scans .. which is a VERY good idea for problems like this.

Thanks, I'm married to a "geek" so I'll have him look into it.
