based on this, all we can say is either Malachite is dominant to Crystal Sea, or it is dominant to something recessive to Crystal Sea.
Umm...This post was merely an update on one of the co-op placement projects, and I believe I made that clear in the text that accompanied the pedigree.
While my other placement projects are rezzed inworld, this pair resides in my cattery, and can't be followed directly by the other breeders at the Saga Chart project space, so I chose to share my progress here.
I have changed the text in the update post to clarify this better.
Looking forward to seeing the hid on your baby, Reven
Malachite is dominant to Chrystal Sea

Maternal Grandfather has Malachite shown and Malachite or bronze hidden (Very slight possibility for the latter)
Maternal Grandmother has Chrystal Sea shown and an unknown hidden that may or may not be Chrystal sea.
Mother shows Malachite
Das shows Dry Olive that is known to be recessive to both Malachite and Chrystal sea.
The kitten's shown Chrystal sea must therefore be mum's hidden, and recessive to Malachite.
Malachite is per the
summer 2016 project thread between Key Lime and Crystal Sea / Chrystal Sun
Quote:Malachite
Saga's charts says: dominant to Crystal Spring, Crystal Dream, and Frost and recessive to Oceania
Thread:
Note: less than 24 hours and we already have our first new info from Peaches!
recessive to Key Lime
Crystal Sea, Crystal Sun
We now need to test Malachite aginst Crystal Sun or Crystal Sea against Crystal Sun to determine the final placement.
Yay! one down and one to go! Congratulations
I birthed a Crystal Sun to pair against Crystal Spring. Do you want to pair against your malachite if you don't have a crystal sun? Here are the stats

That looks good to me, Kayla!
I can also pop this boy if you have a boxed girl and would prefer to use the boy against Crystal Spring.
That could give us the second proof for Malachite/Sea as well as place Sea/sun
♂ I probably hide Crystal Sea
Fur: Ocicat - Ebony Silver
Eyes: Malachite (Shape: Mysterious | Pupil: Small)

Our Malachite/ Crystal Sun test pair have delivered a boy with Malachite eyes.
He is already unboxed for testing.

Yay! Thanks for birthing the baby, Reven! I can't wait to see if it hides Crystal Sun or not! It will place Malachite!
Mum shows Crystal Sea
Dad shows Malachite
Kitten shows Malachite and hides Crystal sea as the next pedigree proves.
Mum shows Malachite
Dad shows dry Olive
Kitten shows Crystal sea, which must be Mum's hidden eye because Dry Olive is known to be recessive to both.
Mum shows Malachite and hides Crystal Sea as proven above
Dad shows Crystal Sun
Kitten shows Malachite
This kitten's hidden isn't proved yet, but we will know in a week.
Mum shows Malachite and hides Crystal Sea as proven above
Dad shows Crystal Sun
Kitten shows Crystal Sun
Crystal Sun is therefore dominant to Crystal Sea
yay! and we are really close to placing Malachite too! Hoping the baby proves it this week!
Mum shows Odyssey Bellini
Dad shows Malachite
Kitten shows Crystal Sun which is known to be dominant to Odyssey Bellini.
Crystal sun must therefore be Dad's hidden eye.
Malachite eyes are PLACED as dominant to Crystal Sun and recessive to Key Lime.
