I can suggest something easy and quick to find your threads, something I always do: click "user CP" and you will see a list of threads, including the most recent one you opened. Hope this helps Heart

Okay, I might have just made a pissy remark, but honestly!

Maybe that will get their attention.

Besides, I really do think that if you are going to use the forums for advertising, you should also be reading and contributing to them too, and you can tell when someone isn't.
I am guilty Sad I can't find a post and have made another one. But then again I have done the CPU thingy as well and someoen times i can find it that way but some times i cant' even find it there but I do try i even do a "keyword search" as well. can't find them and then i find the one i was looking for a week or more latter hahahhahaha. Computers hate me.

But also i see like 20 [maybe less] all from the same person and the SURL doesn't even work.
I feel when you got that many post and not enough detail in the post AND ..... the SLURL doen't work that is like almost Trash and boarder line griefing. Now i did say boarder line.
Plus I'm looking for a certain trait and let me tell you it is freaking hard as heck to look for it. If there is a post that i can tell with have more than one kitty in it i will open it. but all that not working mess makes it hard as heck.
Sorry if i sound grumpy
I'm not above having one for boxes/my main store and another for live kitties, and maybe another for a Bid Board or special item. But I do try not to over do it - really I do. :-) Likewise, I think it's okay to actually start a new thread once in a while instead of updating the same post for months. But putting every single cat in it's own new thread just seems waaaaay too much. There has to be a balance there somewhere.

And, yes, I agree about it becoming trash/spam. I've also seen people bump a post again and again, saying that stuff is still available, apparently without ever checking to make sure the surl works. It really doesn't surprise me that some of them are going out of business!

(Now one of my surls or urls will be wrong. LOL! I usually copy and paste them straight into the post while I'm standing right from of the cat/item, and sometimes still test them. *fingers crossed & knocking on cyberwood*)
Yes, seems like there is way to much spam...I really wonder if it helps to sell cats?
I agree. It's unfair to others who are trying to advertise as well. We all want to sell our kitties but why do some have 3-4 posts about the same shop. You can just edit your original post and also put multiple shops in one. Bumping them at the same time is rude and makes other posts go way down or on the next page. Some only have a few cats and have one post. I wish people would be more respectful about others posting. I am surprised KC doesn't have a guideline for posting.
