I know that within the community we all seem to have our little quirks and places we like to go and not go. Not to mention some of the drama involved. (WHICH PLEASE DON'T POST OR GET INTO HERE)

In the pursuit of trying to find a medium for new to KittyCatS as well old alike to get to know each other and learn about them. I would like to see the thoughts on hosting "offsite" get together at clubs or venues of a social nature. I know we have a lot that Host and/or DJ and also some who work or own these venues. Just thinking outside the box, and would be a good way to adverse outside the community and get to know everyone.

For now I Just want to get peoples thoughts and other ideas. See whatcha think.
I think that's a great idea. Sometimes I'd like to chat about cats, and learn more, but group chat is too busy for me.
That was my thought was because I see questions asked and then drowned out and lost. Then recently I visited a couple of clubs and noticed some times they are busy which of course wouldn't be a good time. If venues are picked on their off times I think it would be great to get to know people and more comfortable to ask questions either in local or im.
For several months now I've posted in the Social section of these forums to say that we're having a two hour music event.

I do breed kitties and I do have a small kitty shop too, but this is NOT about trying to sell you cat boxes. It's about socialising with friends - old and new - whilst enjoying some pretty great music. Simply having a nice time with some like minded folks.

So feel free to turn up ~ with or without an accompanying Kitty - we'll be glad to see you Smile ....................... We are Deff KC friendly!!
I agree. It would also be nice to have events in all different time zones, for the night people, as well as the morning and afternoon folks. Events off site, and even in the store, like dances, etc...
