My friend and I have been breeding and sharing our kitties together. One thing it boggles our mind is the Tiger Curl tail trait from Menagerie kitty. We both know that this trait only comes from Menagerie kitty, but we have a dilemma and trying to figure out why this trait came out from the Halloween kitty. Below is the pedigree and mating information my friend has done. Could someone shed some light on this one? Thank you very much for your help and guidance in advance.

Probably the Bali Cream Lynx had a tiger somewhere in his ancestry, and all that shows is that the halloween cat hides a tail that is recessive to the tiger curl tail Smile

Thank you for responding, Ylva Smile I really appreciate your feedback. Yes, that kitty has a long, solid tiger curl trait. The question is since the baby got the tiger curl trait from the dad, is this the hidden trait for the Halloween kitty? Does it mean the hidden tail from the Halloween kitty hasn't really showed up yet? Is that correct?

Whatever tail your Halloween kitty hides is actually hidden behind that tiger curl tail (since the halloween starters can't carry tiger curl). This basically means Swanky, Fussy, Posh, or something new and undiscovered. Your OS#2 just happened to get the starter's shown genesis, hopefully next time the starter will toss their hidden tail with the posh partner and give you some more clues. BTW, your starter also hides exactly BooBoo ears (they showed in front of the Ody2 from the partner in the first OS) and at least B&W Posh whiskers which you can also see on the first OS.

Thank you, Liriel. We thought that it will be more recessive than the tiger curl. It just threw us off when the Tiger Curl showed up when we know that the trait is coming from menagerie kitty.
It's why we love retired and special collection traits. When our starters give'em to us we know we got something going more recessive or new. Good luck on finding out!
