I would like KittyCatS! to be in-world pedigree enabled automatically, or, at least a button in your cattery that is "enable all"
"Enable All" (and "Disable All", which would also then be needed) has been asked for and refused.

The reason for the refusal was the network traffic involved with enabling or disabling all for a given breeder would not be reliable since it is probably going to run afoul of network use/abuse throttles on the Second Life side.

Changing the default does NOT effect the issue. All it does is shift the complaints from those who want all enabled to those who want all disabled.

The obvious solution to the second objection is to have the default selectable in the account page, just as the view prior generations is now. That would be the new personal default for all cats and boxes born (or rezzed from cattery) from the time it was checked (assuming that the 'default' default would be off).

I do understand about the network traffic for making it work for cats and boxes already in-world, however. That is an excellent point. It's just not a valid reason for not allowing a personal default setting at some point.
Nor does it obviate the better solution: eliminate the network overhead.

Not sure how you'd do that, since by using a check mark on the web site to make a functional change to an in-world cat means that you are, by definition, required to use some network means to communicate that change to the in-world cat object.
