It would be great if food could have transfer permissions so that it could be provided with kitties when they are sold.

Would it help if I added a FAQ explaining that this will probably never happen?

The reasons why not have never been made clear. The prevalent feeling is that KittyCatS! looks at the fraud problems transferable food caused for other breedables, and choose to not allow those frauds to be perpetrated on the KittyCatS! community.
